 Valarie Florio Development Director, Youth Entrepreneurs of Kansas Valarie has been with Youth Entrepreneurs of Kansas as their development director for the past three years. Previously, she was the annual fund director with the Wichita State University Foundation. She has also worked for other non-profits in Wichita serving as the director of alumni events for the Wichita State University Alumni Association and the development specialist for the Wichita Children’s Home. Valarie grew up in Wichita and has two sisters and one brother. She received a bachelor’s degree in communication and sociology and journalism minor from Newman University and master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Wichita State University. Valarie enjoys volunteer work and is highly involved in the Wichita Junior League and the Young Professionals of Wichita.
